Location:
Your tents will be pitched on the slopes of the Himalayan foothills in a small Kumaoni village called Syat surrounded by dense Saal forest overlooking the vast Corbett landscape forest spread our below. You can create some of the most intense Wildlife and jungle experience possible in Corbett. You can ride mountain bicycle (21-geared Firefox/ Trek Bikes) through the valley dotted with villages and farmlands, pitch tents for the night on a high mountain top or next to a forest stream, follow river streams from their source as they flow deep into the forest to track wildlife, identify rare birds, make POP casts of pug marks and work closely with wildlife experts born in the Corbett villages. They know their forest well and share their deep knowledge of the forest and make this a personally enriching experience.
Itinerary:
20th March | Wednesday | Arrive early in the morning. Tent allocation, freshening up followed by break-fast. Post breakfast – familiarization trek in dense remote jungles with stunning birds eye views of the Baur River valley floor and the Corbett landscapes region. Jumarring/ Rappelling. Picnic lunch in the forest. Post lunch, trek back to the site. After some leisure time, prepare yourself for pre-holi bonfire bash with villagers.
21st March | Thursday | Holi Celebration.
22nd March | Friday | Today, we will start our day with early morning bird watching trail. Breakfast fol-lowed by River Crossing, ladder climbing in the nearby forest. A short trek to hidden canal for body surf-ing session. Campfire followed by dinner. Night walks in the forest (is optional.)
23rd March | Saturday | Post breakfast, depart for Delhi.
